@andresinmp You got my concern correctly: About three times more people download #AndStatus from f-droid than from Google Play thus explicitly showing that they don’t want to use “Google account” on their devices.
This is why any new enhancement shouldn’t require “Google account”. I suspect Google Cloud Messaging will require this ?!
