I wish the #roku was #freesoftware. It wasn't difficult to replace any of my electronic devices with libre alternatives, but I can't seem to find a replacement for the Roku. The sad issue is that I'm chained to #netflix and #amazon prime. I don't want to subject my wife (and by proxy) my son to a lack of the modern media they like so much. I'm trying to lead by example rather than force things on them. They're free to choose as they like, after all.
