@nawi I haven't decided which to recommend. I need to explore some more distros first, or I'll end up recommending _my_ favorite: #Gentoo. I'll definitely be watching #Devuan. I am already wishing that some #Fedora / #CentOS users would likewise attempt to cobble together a usable RH-family distro that still gives people a choice of init systems.
