@sl #LECrypt is a good thing because it removes price as a barrier to using #TLS encryption and because they are working on automating the process of acquiring and deploying certs. However, Let's Encrypt still supports the broken and dangerously insecure centralized #CertAuthorities system, so in that sense, it improves nothing. I still hope they do well. So well that some of the shadier certificate authorities see sharp drops in their business and decide to close.
