Get a grip, people. The short-term reaction of the markets to the #Brexit vote reflects ONLY the fact that big money had not prepared for the result. It will be months or years before we find out the real financial effects on both the UK and the EU. I'm sure the rulers will have to negotiate for a long time before the split is finalized. If EU leadership is smart, they'll grant some pretty favorable trade terms to UK. If not, they'll wind up with only one strong economy (DE) supporting the rest of the members and dictating harsh terms that may break the whole thing up.
Think long term. The vote is done, what can you as an individual and your nation as a whole do to make the best of it?
Likewise for US residents. The twin parties have made sure the two worst candidates ( #HRC and #Trumplestiltskin ) are almost guaranteed to be their nominees. Either one is likely to have disastrous effects on the nation. Too late, we cannot stop the train wreck. So start thinking about what you as an individual and we as a nation can do to mitigate the damage either candidate is expected to cause.
