   It's a generally bad thing to log into anything (say GNU Social) via #tor because it obliterates your anonymity, right?

     @cmhobbs afaik Tor routing/exit nodes change every ~10 minutes. And you could use a 2nd Tor setup simultaneously for other web access

     @cmhobbs … and: using https makes it at least more difficult for observers to find out who logs in where.

     @cmhobbs I'm by no means an expert, but when I use #Tor, I use a different browser, don't visit same sites I use without Tor, don't log into any site, clear all site data after. I'm likely still doing it wrong.
