     @doctorjellyface there are dedicated android clients for !gnusocial, as well as some desktop clients. Some instances also support XMPP

     I use the #Pidgin plug-in #Twitgin which shows my timeline in a tabbed window, and lets me send messages. But !GNUsocial does !XMPP too, so any Jabber client can connect to a GNUsocial instance that has XMPP turned on. Also, see http://www.skilledtests.com/wiki/Statusnet_clients
