     @windigo Are you sure ~F instances are behind that? Maybe there's a recent bug in !Friendica's #OStatus implementation. /CC: @heluecht

     @lnxw48 I've already filed a bug, but it's on hold until I can upgrade GNUsocial. https://github.com/friendica/friendica/issues/2038

     @lnxw48 We're getting blitzed by Friendica servers requesting thousands of pages of "conversations". They think it's GNUsocial's pagination.

     @lnxw48 It only started a few days ago, so I don't think it's !GS. The only thing I've touched is !fragdev's nginx configs… Hmm…

     @windigo Weird that it never showed up before, but their example does fail on #FragDev (but not on Federati).

     @lnxw48 It looks like my nginx config refactoring removed URL arguments, ie: ?page=3, which led Friendica to request ad infinitum. :(

     @windigo That's what I suspected once I heard about the #nginx changes. Still, ISTM that applications should recognize when successive pages have the same content. Hopefully, that'll get fixed.

     @lnxw48 They happened to be in a hackathon when I filed my bug, and they said they'd try to add a check. Good folks overall! :)

     @lnxw48 But yeah, since I triggered the bug, I'm going to try and un-trigger it and get pagination working all at the same time. :D
