   I've read several reports on #NSA etc wanting #backdoor agreements w/manufacturers of 'embedded' boxes,like switches etc. We need #firewalls

     @rozzin @mcscx We don't need firewalls for that, but libre hardware.

     @postblue good point, #libre hardware is definitely better, but #intelligence will try to infiltrate mass-produced #libre devices, too

     @postblue do you also suspect hardware trojans, or do you mean stock embedded hardware w/libre “firmware“

     Since for #copyleft !libre hardware, they would have to ship the source, that would be much harder to corrupt.
