     Manic Mansion and Monkey Island both use the SCUMM engine. I used the name Monkey Island to ensure that people know what the engine provides, because I assume that it is more widespread, but I had no good examples from Monkey Island at hand. Maybe I should have named both …

     @drak Aha. Yeah, "used by many games like Monkey Island. Here's an example from Maniac Mansion" or similar would have been less confusing. :-)
