   How are stats from Diaspora Central Hub different from Denticator? http://macno.org/denticator/ Seems to me if a pod publishes a list of its users then anyone can scrape it for stats. For example, starting from http://sn.jonkman.ca/directory/users I can make a pretty good guess at how long the instance has been up, how active each user is, &c. Creating an API to query this info is convenient, but not an essential tool. That said, Diaspora is !FreeSoftware, so let the developer scratch his own itch. If it satisfies a need, it'll get adopted.
