   Sometimes, I find the lack of a response from free software project maintainers very frustrating. Those are the times I feel like quitting on free software and just doing whatever it is that others are doing.

     I know that people don't have time, and that I am not entitled to a response, but knowing that does not make me feel any better.

     There’s also the point that they might just have missed your message. Or check their github notifications only when they have time to hack.
