   Hey, @mmn, I got this message constantly right after fresh #gnusocial pull: "OpportunisticQueueManager: [xmpp-out] Discarding: Bad frame in queue item", and no messages from #xmpp daemon.

     Okay I found roots of this problem - lib/queuedaemon.php, line 178. When I trying to use #xmpp (or #gnusocial itself) - it passing to decode() an XML, not JSON.
