     @drak could you please use complete URLs? when the protocol (http/https) isn't in it it doesn't get linkified in may clients.

     @mk I can just disable the link shortener. Thanks to running my own !GNU social instance, I no longer need to shorten them.

     @drak the shortener is not teh problem though - incomplete URLs are: anything without the http:// scheme is not a real URL and thus is not linkified

     @mk leaving out the http/https in text is common practice for μblogs - and recognized by most client programs via simple pattern-recognition

     @mk the reason why I can include http is the same why I can avoid the shortener: no more limit to 140 chars (twitter will shorten anyway)
