     @andrioid Now that #Facebook owns #WhatsApp there's no incentive for them to use any kind of !XMPP standard at all

     @andrioid Agreed, getting #Facebook to use federated !XMPP is best. But why spend 19 G$ on #WhatsApp if they're not going to use it?

     @andrioid @bobjonkman whastapp works on XMPP but it's not open, and FB wants the graph of users, and in Europe is really big.
