     I'm using mailoo.org, which is free, without adds, using free software (webmail is Roundcube). I find it reliable, you can join the admin by mail. Needs participation (€), if possible, when there's too much inscription, but I think it's worth it.

     @1g0r looks like mailoo is worth a consideration, too. There's also Autistici in Italy, it's donation-based, too.
