@drak interesting that it mentions Workrave (which I've been using for years) - available wor Windows and Linux (don't know about Mac though)

that’s actually how I found the post. I tried to find out whether workrave has a curses-mode.

@drak oh -- that I don't know. I do remember I was very pleasantly surprised to find it in the Debian repos when I thought it was Windwos-only :)

I had sever problems with it for about a year, now, because it tends to lock up my screen (requiring a pkill from a terminal).

actually Workrave saved me about 3 years ago when my hands hurt from too much typing with a child hanging on my arm. Thanks to workrave, I recovered *while working*.

@drak that's brilliant! I don't use it all the time, just when I recognize I spend too much time behind the keyboard - but its flexibility is what makes it non-intrusive and instead helpful

@drak I used RSIBreak for a couple of months but I found it conflicted with my work&at home it was a hassle 2 remember 2 disable when gaming
