   hmm,that's odd: I read something about Nagios (monitoring), mentioning version 4.0.1 had been released in October 2013; then I go and look it up in Synaptic and find !debian only has version 3.4.1 - does anyone know why it doesn't have the newer version?

     @mk in fact, 3.4.1 dates back to 2012-05-14, and the latest 3.x is 3.5.1 from 2013-08-30 :( http://sourceforge.net/projects/nagios/files/nagios-3.x/ vs http://sourceforge.net/projects/nagios/files/nagios-4.x/
