copying files via Adele (USB station) goes so well, I almost forget I'm working across the network! #happy just moving/deleting files on the network drive seems to be a problem - why? #unhappy

@mk update: *writing* across the network seems to work fine, too - it's just the deleting part of "moving" that runs into a permissions problem. Maybe I misunderstood something in the Control panel UI of Adele... #gettingthere

@mk aha, some searching reveals this seems to be default behavior, and it should theoretically be possible to override that, but I'm not sure I can control that from Adele... http://forums.justlinux.com/showthread.php?117892-Files-created-through-samba-share #networking

@mk I need to let all this sink in and then experiment a bit, but the referenced thread ^ seems to hold the clues for how to control this. That's a nice exercise for today - but first I have physio, and I need to start getting ready for that! #networking
