@herbstkaefer Wenn du nicht mal Hashtag #RasPi verwendest, findet dich kein Interessiserter. ;-) Gibt's nich sogar ne federate group RasPi?
-
@kuro @herbstkaefer hier ist die !raspberrypi ← Gruppe
-
@mcscx can't join it and it's described as a 'workaround'
-
@mk probably a name conflict with the ancient identica-based group. Is the description you see differernt from this one http://qttr.at/dor
-
@mcscx yes! odd though, because the link NOW leads to a different page! (where I cannot see a description and there is no "remote join" button like I saw at my first attempt!) #somethingchangedwhileiwasaway #confuzzled
-
@mcscx duh, when I do a remote join from my own profile page I see that description again on the 'confirm' page: "caution - do not subscribe to this group, it's merely a workaround to let me post to the identica based group"
-
@mk undefined things happen when there's a group name conflict. I'm tempted to rename the group (but I should try with a test group before)
-
@mcscx I try using this link for the group: https://quitter.se/group/raspberrypi
-
@mk on Quitter you'll still have to use *old*.quitter\.se/group/raspberrypi to get a +remote subscribe button (will come with next version)
-
@mcscx but that's what I saw on my first attempt; but both that and teh 'new' group page lead (when doing a remote join) to the same confirm page with that warning. So I haven't confirmed (in both cases).
-
@mk ah, so the +remote button is there. I've only just added the group icon, so dont be confused by this.
-
@mcscx and I *do* want to join since a raspberry is on my wishlist :(
-
@mk that's valuable info. You came out here: http://opensim-chat.eu/group/raspberrypi
-
@mk pls wait a minute with the group…
-
@mcscx no, I don't think so (but (now) it says "Not found - no such group"); I actually came out here which is NOT old quitter but does have a "remote join" button: https://quitter.se/group/raspberrypi - I note that that is https, not http. clue?
