   Working on a family budget. Leaning towards Calc over GnuCash for now, for simplicity. Any other recommendations?

     I'm happy with GnuCash. Just tried it a week ago and got used to it fair quickly. I'm also using the android app for on-the-road expenses and export them back to my desktop easily.

     besides: The first thing I hit when looking for the reference to #ledger was the #wikipedia entry — with a deletion request :(

     Wasn't aware of ledger-cli :) For family use I still prefer GnuCash over it.

     @marc0s cool, didn't know about the Android app! I used GnuCash before, hard to keep up with... I think I'll go back to it eventually though

     @drak ah, neat. Probably sticking with a GUI though -- my wife isn't *that* comfortable with a CLI :)
