   trying to place an order for 2 HDs online and running into an error: there seems to be a communication problem with the bank so iDEAL payment system won't work; there's another way by transferring directly from the bank (or Paypal, but that costs extra)... :(

     @mk OK, now I've decided to get one RAID box for the drives (so I can use it as either JBOD or RAID 1), which also has 2 USB 3 sockets - and one extra (cheap) single enclosure to test problem drives with

     @mk seems the communication with the banks only paymnent system (iDEAL) is solved already: second order went through without a hitch: dual-bay RAID enclosure ordered!

     @mk single-bay enclosure ordered, too - no fancy UASP, but it's SATA III to USB 3.0 all teh same, and only €26: the cheapest I've been able to find with specs like this. So now we wait for the packages to come rolling in... :D
