     @nawi ... non-tech folks may ask for MSWord doc, but that's a bad idea -- it will _always_ be out of date and users will always want it in the latest MS file format. A _short_ text or PDF file that consists primarily of links to chapters …

     @nawi ... either way, have some reader (even if that reader is yourself) in mind _before_ writing a doc. The format (txtfile, wiki, etc) should be something that your reader will actually use.
