     @mcscx I suspect @nanook's #federation issue is due to the instance being in a subdirectory. I seem to recall seeing advice not to set it up that way.

     @lnxw48 So he'd need to move the instance to a subdomain& his user record must be removed from other instances' dbs&ppl need to resubscribe?

     @mcscx I've heard bad things about changing instance URLs, though I have not tried it myself. Might be better to install from scratch.
