@aru @chnissen #andstatus syncing not much faster here w/cache reduced to 1 week. Took 5 minutes with full cpu load. Last sync was 8 hrs ago

Welcome :-) You could even create your own GNUsocial instance. Your followers can use !Mustard or #Andstatus to get notifications on Android

Trying #andstatus on my phone. Works great! One improvement would be an indication when it's loading.

@aru indeed, #andstatus needs literally minutes to fetch new dents on my Galaxy Ace phone - but only a few seconds on my pad.

@aru seems to depend on the hardware. #andstatus is reasonably fast on my tablet but really too slow on my old  phone

@aru you can try #andstatus with Twitter, it's great for displaying large conversions in #hierarchical view
