93°F in #Baton_Rouge, but thanks to 50% relative humidity, it feels like 104°F when the wind isn't gusting. I think my ideal (though imaginary) place would rarely go outside of a 40°F to 85°F range.

I'm pretty sure I drove past one such prison near the border of #Louisiana and #Mississippi during the time I was working in #Baton_Rouge. My thought at the time: _This place was built and run by people who knew what punishment was._

@jonkulp Now I realize that is right there by #Walmart. I may have eaten there after all, since it was in walking distance of my first #Baton_Rouge #hotel. (College Drive was 7 miles / 35 minutes from the office.)

Another co-worker, who'd been in #Baton_Rouge at the same time I was there, said that I look like I've lost 30 pounds (14kg) since then. Two or three years.

@theru @jonkulp I guess I should start going to Goodwill again. I generally dislike their !SoCal stores, though I've found some really cool ones in #Salina, #KS, and #JeffCity, #MO. #Baton_Rouge, #LA, location was good, too.

@daw Figures. Last time I spent much time in a AT&T store (when I was in #Baton_Rouge, in the mall where I walked on rainy days and Saturdays), they were trying to push #WinPhone7 & #Win8 on everyone that walked in. Didn’t seem aware even then of what other OSes could do.
