#PHP 5.5 is standard in #CentOS 6.x, #RHEL 6.x, #Debian 7.x, I believe. None of which are EOL yet, so OS vendor maintains patchset vs the old codebase.

@teslasmoustache @vinzv Something to be aware of. Newest !gnusocial code is written for #PHP version 5.5 or greater. So #raspian (because it is based on #debian #wheezy) with default software packages might not work correctly.
