Today is the day when !loadaverage will be migrated to #gnusocial. #stayTuned.
-
My #friendica instances updated to latest git version. Probably, it's time to make #loadaverage work on #gnusocial :)
-
Warning to all users of #xmpp and #textile plugins: there can be an incompatability between these 2 plugins. At least I got daemon crashes while using these 2 plugins. And this means, that Textile plugin, most likely, will be disabled when !loadaverage will be moved to #gnusocial.
-
I think #gnusocial will prevail at that time :)
-
We can always have such kind of hope, but I don’t think that Evan will continue to participate in #gnusocial.

The way I switched – how to switch from #statusnetz to #gnusocial, my way: http://url.pztrn.name/kl
-
My #merge232 was successfully adopted and going to #gnusocial: http://url.pztrn.name/kk
-
Let my 1000 notice be about successfull transfer of my #statusnet instance to #gnusocial. This means that I also successfully modified my #xmpp patch to #gnusocial, and about to make a merge request :)
-
Probably, it’s time to transfer my instance and #loadaverage one to #gnusocial

@fouine @pztrn Of course, keep a backup of you whole former !sn directory. What I did: I kept my /var/ww/statusnet directory, created a copy of the master branch of #gnusocial in /var/www/gnu-social (I've an alias in zshrc to git pull it easily), copied the directories {file, avatar, background} and config.php from statusnet to gnu-social, renamed the php-fpm pool and reconfigured nginx to point to /var/www/gnu-social and the new pool. Then I chmoded and chowned well this directory. I reloaded both services, edited config.php to add LRDD and WebFinger plugins and removed those that aren't in the stock plugins directory. Last, script/checkschema.php to update the stuff and see if it's working.

The !Fediverse is not undergoing fragmentation, but more diverse federation. I thought @liamzebedee gave a good explanation of !OStatus. While I agree there is no "official" implementation, I disagree with all his OStatus issues. There may be no "official" implementation of OStatus, but !StatusNet is the showcase application, and #GNUsocial should become the reference implementation. Interesting that the author provides no OStatus ID, but only his Twitter ID @liamzebedee

RT @hgfernan@quitter.se To be precise, !fediverse is a group of friends using #Statusnet, currently #GNUsocial for federated microblogging

Found this old pre-merge #GNUsocial test instance, obviously a fork of !StatusNet 0.9.x: http://qttr.at/a3k
