aaaaahhh - #bliss! My own dark theme is a tweaked GTK2 theme - I' happy with it - EXCEPT that more aand more applications use GTK3 instead of GTK2, and plague my eyes with too much light! After the latest upgrades I was so annoyed with this that I went on a quest to find out a way to create a GTK3 dark them - no need: I found this: http://killhellokitty.deviantart.com/art/DeLorean-Dark-Themes-3-8-379643446; had to do manual download+install, but it WORKS! now GTK3 applications (like Synaptic) "obey" the theme, too. What a relief for the eyes! I'd like the red just a little darker, but I'll do that later. #happy

finally a very productive day again: I found a great set of new fonts (and some fantastic deals); also did more font organizing and found out how I can use Fontforge to list all glyphs in a font (great if you want to use alternates or dicretionary ligatures in a web font). #happy :)
