@taknamay You could also host your own (#GNU_Social, #PostActive, #Mastodon, #Friendica, ...) on a #VPS and decide many of the rules for yourself in exchange for site admin ( #DentMaster ) duties. Just informing you of another option to consider.

@gargron It isn't all or none. It is some new instances will run #GNU_Social, some will run #PostActiv, some will run #Mastodon. I think of the projects more as allies than competitors.

@gargron I'm not considering a move, but I have considered putting an instance of #Mastodon or #Rstatus on a newly-created subdomain once I shut down the #S2FN #VPS and spin up its replacement.
