I have now written out a 15-step plan for setting up my 'syncing and dancing' backup system. Actually the hardest part is that it involves several not-really-linux systems like phone (Android), tablet (Android), NAS (ADM), Fritz!Box router (in Amsterdam), and (???) router (in Groningen). I suspect (but have not yet verified) that the Ziggo router in Groningen runs some type of Windows. The only real Linux machines will be my laptop, workstation (to be upgraded/replaced) and netbook. #networking #backup #SSH #dynamicDNS --- Now that all the steps are written out, I can just start and work myself through them. I hope I have studies enough by now that this will be easy(ish). :) --- Yes, I'll keep notes! (I always do when installing/configuring stuff - at least when it's for the first time.)
