@ghostdancer hi :) Installed extra drive, formatted as EXT4, and I'm now checking *that* for bad sectors (42% done); the othr single drive had bad sectors, but could not record them because the "bad block inode" was in use by files, so I broke it off and will do a dd copy to the extra when that's finished checking before letting e2fsck write any more to the 'old' single drive. it all takes a lot of #patience... (time for another #tea :))
