I've been so much preoccupied with misbehaving harddisks and urgency to recover valuable data, that some other things nearly went wrong... one expired domain (now recovered - phew!), invoice for a hosting account (though I had given warning beforehand I might be late after my long trip), and two image hosting accounts where the data for my credit card was no longer valid - one already past renewal time but they're lenient. I think I've covered all such situations now: time for a nice Spring Bock !beer proost !fediverse!
