@mk step 3: software installation. the manual suggests using the display & button at the top but this corresponds to "1-click setup" which supposedly sets up RAID 5 (and ends with showing the IP address on the display; since I already know the IP address I'll try going straight to the internal web page - and this works: the UI loads and I get a choice between 1-click setup and Custom setup; since I want RAID 10 (not 5) I'll choose Custom setup and see how that goes...
