I *think* I have finally figured out how to mount a USB drive/thumb at a specific 'logically named' mount point; the main hurdle turns out to be busybox which provides 'mount' but not all flags or options. no -L to mount by label, no 'auto' for options, etc... but the 'portal' web page / control panel seems to be unaware of it - I may need to reboot (again)
