@clienhardt@quitter.se Depends upon what you’re looking for. The fact that I can communicate now with you via a decentralized network would be reason enough for me. Currently I personally have 140 contacts via the OStatus protocoll but 5 on twitter (2 of them are here as well) with option to display any twitter account here. If I could download the twitter source code and install it on my server I’d be able to say if I’d like it better though got my doubts. Also one should not focus just on the quitter instance to understand what this federated network is.
