@lnxw48 Thats what I try to say between the lines. Yes, in Debian 7 you can uninstall systemd but not in newer versions ... development (good or bad) will not stop. Ubuntu and so on had also no systemd but it will come ... so the conclusion is, stay with systemd or switch to a distribution with a big community like #Gentoo / #Funtoo or switch to the BSD's. The time to choose will come ... earlier or later.
