This reminds me of the #Lastpass app. They added some new features (far outside of their original purpose), wanted insane permissions. After a discussion with their #support staff about the propriety of a security app wanting to arbitrarily turn on camera and microphone at will, I dumped them. I was unable to make them understand that their other functions should have been in an additional (optional) app, not a requirement for the password manager
