Update on the North Fire: 3,500 acres, 5% contained. 700+ structures threatened in Baldy Mesa. 18 passenger vehicles, 2 big rigs destroyed, but the #I-15 currently open in both directions. Evacuations still in effect in Baldy Mesa and Phelan. CalFire now appears to be the lead agency. Over 650 firefighters active on this one. Burned areas in #San_Bernardino County and possibly #Los_Angeles County. Potential rain may help. !SoCal
