But from the mentions I hear about Statusnet and stuff on Ubuntu Podcast and Linux Outlaws I think they are not aware of recent developments (or what happened after they left identica ). They left and never checked back. Now there's much more to it when we say !fediverse : RedMatrix, Friendica, GNU social.... etc. Things have improved a lot while they were busy confining themselves in walled gardens :-)
