@lnxw48 actually standards are quite strict in China, and they work very hard to build up solar and wind energy (they have the space, too, with some big deserts). But the country is huge, and they need to produce lots of energy to keep their economy growing - partly with existing coal installations. The latter is what everyone is thinking of, and it's a problem, but what they're doing for renewable energy is huge *at the same time*.
