@andstatus @verius @maiyannah \@username was fine when the default instance was identi\.ca. Eventually, with a widely-dispersed #federation, I think it'll need to default to \@username\@domain\ext, at least for communication between non-webUI clients and the server (may not be necessary to display it all to users).
