The recent backdoor found in Allwinner kernels doesn't apply to Cubieboard/Cubietruck images of #Freedombone, since the debian kernel is based upon mainline. The kernel which Allwinner ships is their own special branch. It just goes to show - stick to known distros and don't use the specially tweaked OS which ships by default on the hardware.
