@dragnucs Having said this, not being dependent on a single central organization is really important. If #Oracle evilizes #MySQL, #MariaDB's branch of the same codebase can avoid that. Or #Percona can revive its performance-enhanced branch of the same codebase. Or a couple of devs working in someone's basement.

If Microsoft evilizes SQL Server, where does one obtain a compatible database to use as a drop-in replacement with SharePoint?
