     I did a VoIP demonstration using my laptop as a #WiFi hotspot with !FreeSWITCH in a VM, maybe 4 connections, but it was too slow to be useful. 3 GHz i5, 8 GB RAM

     Why was the VoIP too slow to be useful? Is it some limitation of the built-in WiFi card, or some limitation of the WiFi standard itself? I imagine there should be no problem with the laptop's processing and memory capabilities...

     I've run the same demo but with an external router, and it worked fine. So I think the problem was a combination of running #FreeSWITCH in a VM and using Hotspot Mode
