@dragnucs I always think of #Gentoo as the easy one and #Arch as the hard one. As long as I update frequently and don't install #Haskell, I rarely have breakage (which is not what I hear from people running Arch).

Took the #VPS that had #Arch and scheduled it for a reimage with #Debian Jessie. Debian is just a lot more familiar to me.

The new #chunkhost #VPS has #Arch on it because they did not have #Gentoo. I may end up replacing that with #Ubuntu or #CentOS if Arch is too troublesome.

I guess I should back up the data on the #Crunchbang laptop. Considering installing #Gentoo, #Fedora, pure #Debian, #Mageia, or something based on #Arch. Could also see whether #FreeBSD likes that hardware.

@jrobb @theru @johnnynull #Fedora used to have a tool called ‘alien’ that could convert packages from one format to another. Perhaps #Arch has something similar.
