@gargron It's complicated. Pump has a few features, such as ability to restrict recipients and a good chunk of former StatusNet users (from before the #bifurcation into two incompatible #federated networks).

@cyberkiller Yes, we lost many users in the #bifurcation, but we gained the knowledge that we *must* spread out and not all ride on the same instance. More decentralized #federation is what we need. More, more, more.

@tuttle Yes, I think #bifurcation was good for the !SN / !gnusocial and #PumpIO networks. Far less centralized than we were before.
