@cat es gibt noch einen besseren Trick: #EXWM. Dann kannst du Emacs als Window Manager benutzen und darin #Firefox starten.

#Firefox 50.1.0, included in #Debian testing, is more stable than the current/newer version particularly 53.0.3 EME-free for Linux x86_64
