I'm looking for something that can !self-host browser bookmarks for #Firefox, #Palemoon, #Chromium, #Opera. Is there a server + extensions that does this? Years ago, I used #Xmarks, but they were owned by the same company that owns #LastPass…

I faked stuff and broke things left and right but now it’s working again. With an old #Firefox and #Opera as fallback if the old FF fails :/

I think #Opera was the inventor of advertising tiles, back before they switched from their own codebase to one based on #Chromium.

@cmhobbs @ghostlybrother At one time, #Opera, #Firefox, #MSIE all had built-in feed readers with visible icons.

    Dang it, #Udemy, why do your lectures require user-hostile #Flash? Join the modern age: #HTML5 (with #WebM or #Ogg Theora for #Firefox / #Chrome / #Opera plus #MP4 for #MSIE / #Safari / mobile) works at least as well.

@mcnalu still the best tool for developers IMO (#Chrome/ium is decent for that, #Opera lags far behind, but #Firefox is way ahead thanks to plugins)

Just ran into a very weird problem in Opera (Debian): it simply doesn't read the whole (combined, minified) stylesheet (not even if I load it manually), so what it does get is invalid, so it doesn't style the page at all and doesn't run JS either. Is the stylesheet too big? No such problem in Chromium... #opera #chromium #stylesheet

  13. mk mk Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca

@bobjonkman OK, some tweaks and no semantics damaged, and some of Opera's layout problems solved. One remains, and I have no idea what to do about it (tried things, didn't work), so #tough #css3 #Opera I stop trying here :)

@bobjonkman and yes, I realize that much of #css3 is still draft or candidate recommendation - but table layout has been aroud (and used) long enough that display oddities should have been shaken out; and table layout (display:table etc.) is a natural solution for forms! #opera #css3 #theme

  15. mk mk Grumble rumble , mk

@mk it seems that happens to the legends only when the fieldset is set to display:table - when it isn't legends appear at the 'normal' place for legends. so, just a stupid layout bug #opera #css #theme #piwigo

another #Opera weirdness: font-family for headings (h1...) is NOT inherited from the font-family set for body #bug #css #style #ignore.opera

weirdness in #Opera: various input elements don't line up horizontally - but trying to correct that by giving a margin to one (say, select), it is actually applied to ALL others (even button) - and things still dont line up. #css #style #ignore.opera
