The #grandkids' clothing items were delivered yesterday. Waiting for pics: #Toddler_A and #Baby_2 in their Univ of #Louisiana and Southern University garb, #GD1 and #GD2 in LSU (Louisiana State) and Southern U clothing. Also, #sonTwo got same t-shirts as his nieces.

Grandpa has been shopping. Bought Southern U and LSU t-shirts for #GD1 and #GD2. Bought Southern U and U of #Louisiana t-shirts for #Toddler_A, onesies for #Baby_A2. Hope to post photos (of clothes, not kids) tonight.

I'm glad those markers were the wash-off kind. One of my ears was blue. It is possible that #GD2 may have colored on me as I slept. (She colored her sleeping older sister #GD1 last night, so it would not be a one-off event.)

Spent a day with #sonOne and family. Gave #GD1 and #GD2 each a backpack full of school supplies and clothes.

Just returned from eastern #Kansas, where I spent time with most of the #grandkids (one lives in !SoCal). #GD2 (age 4) decided that I am hers and hers alone. Gave her older sister ( #GD1, age 8) quite a bit of grief about trying to share her granddad's time.

#GD1 (age 8) has a friend from school visiting. The boy's parents and siblings are here, too. Great to watch the kids interact.

@aqeel I'm feeling the effects of a sedentary life, with rushed meals at restaurants and fast-food restaurants (mostly thanks to my job). If I want to still be around when #GD1, #GD2, #Toddler_A grow up, I've got to make big changes.
